Cultural Opportunity for College Students

The following opportunity is being offered by the Trade Commission of the Embassy of Spain, an official institution and part of the worldwide network of Commercial Offices from Spain.

At present we are launching the “Study in Spain” campaign, directed to enhance the image of our country as a destination for American students, as well as to promote partnerships between Spanish and American education institutions.

As part of this agenda, we have developed a new program called “Spanish Student Ambassadors“ through which we are recruiting students who might be interested in becoming the main Spanish representative for their universities and colleges. We are looking for students who have a deep knowledge of Spain and its culture and who can offer the following profile:

• Fluent in Spanish
• Proactive personality
• Motivated and committed for 1 or 2 years
• With social skills
• Interested in the people and culture of Spain

We consider that this program would be very beneficial for students as they will develop valuable skills such as leadership, event organization, responsibility, teamwork, and, personal skills. At the end of their collaboration, the Embassy of Spain will issue an official diploma to each Student Ambassador which will grant added value to their student life and their résumés.

We have already started working with many students all across the United States, their experiences are very positive and the program is developing very fast.
